HAMMERFALL Bassist To Embark On South American Tour
September 4, 2004HAMMERFALL bassist Magnus Rosén will be embarking on a solo tour of South America in October. Tentative dates are as follows:
Oct. 11-13 - Lima, Peru
Oct. 14-16 - Santiago, Chile
Oct. 17-18 - Concepción, Chile
Oct. 19-22 - São Paulo, Brazil
Oct. 23-26 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Rosén recently completed the recording process for his fourth solo album, "Arose", tentatively due later in the year. Described as "a little bit different from the previous CDs," the next album will feature bass, drums, guitar, vocals and sax. Magnus' last solo album, "Empty Room", was reportedly voted best CD of 2003 by the readers of Bass Inside magazine.
HAMMERFALL have just entered Lundgaard Studios in Denmark with producer Charlie Bauernfeind (BLIND GUARDIAN, GAMMA RAY, RAGE) to begin recording their new album, tentatively due on March 7, 2005 through Nuclear Blast Records. A single will precede the album on January 31. Songtitles set to appear on the follow-up to 2002's "Crimson Thunder" include "The Templar Flame", "Born to Rule" and "Fury of the Wild".
